Americas Cup 2020 - Portsmouth - Art Print

I just love Ben Ainslie and his crew who used to inhabit the Ben Ainslie Racing building in Old Portsmouth. I originally painted an Americas Cup 2016 piece which was when we were hosting the event on Southsea Seafront. This was a fabulous piece with the iconic buildings of Old Portsmouth appearing in the background, such as the Still & West the Spinnaker Tower and BAR headquarters! 

So, this is a revisit. The first two of the three planned 2020 America's Cup World Series competitions – in Sardinia and Portsmouth – were cancelled due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on sports. The third event, held over three days in December 2020, was won by Emirates Team New Zealand.

So, this painting depicted the lone British boat.
