For all of you who commute to London this is where the sea meets the city! I have had quite a few days in London since the lifting of restrictions and I love the buzz of the city and the calm of the water. Always something going on and whilst visiting we always try to explore at least one of the landmarks in this painting.
Each building holds special memories of day trips to London with various friends and family and reminds me of how knackered I was after climbing the many steps of St.Pauls and how I had to overcome the mental anxiety of walking up the small confined stair cases. An achievement when I reached the top and the best prize an awe inspiring view to take in at the summit.  The Shard where I enjoyed afternoon tea and The Sky Garden where I lounged on a sofa watching the rain fall drearily on the roof.
The right side of the painting is the south side of The River and the Left Side the north.
Who doesn’t love London? I painted this iconic scene to take in all the amazing place I enjoy visiting when I go for a day trip.
